Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Shukrimi b. Awang is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who focuses his practice on Paediatric Orthopaedics. He sees patients at Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Center (SASMEC@IIUM) and holds a senior lecturer position at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). In the past, he led the Department of Orthopaedics, Traumatology & Rehabilitation at IIUM. His specialized skills in paediatric orthopaedics were shaped by training with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Sulaiman and Prof. James Hui at the National University Hospital, Singapore. Dr. Mohd Shukrimi is dedicated to teaching and research, having published in paediatric orthopaedics and taken part in studies on bone cement and paediatric fractures. He also serves on the National Conjoint Board of Orthopaedics.
