Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Nahar Azmi Mohamed serves as a Consultant Sports Physician and Head of Sports Medicine, where he brings exercise and wellness into the management and rehabilitation of disease. His expertise covers Exercise Prescription and the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test (CPET), used for risk stratification and pre-operative conditioning, and he works alongside multiple departments. Dr. Mohamed established the Exercise Support Group for Cancer Survivors and created BeFITT@UMMC, reflecting a deep dedication to patient well-being and community health. His research, spanning more than a decade, has advanced medical knowledge in sports injuries, wellness, and the benefits of exercise for conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
