At IIUM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amalina Binti Haydar Ali Tajudin serves as an Assistant Professor, dividing her time between patient care in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and the training of the next generation of doctors. Her scholarly work centres on non-functioning pituitary neuroendocrine tumors (NF-PitNETs), where she examines molecular findings and potential new therapeutic approaches, among them selective anti-estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). She also studies alternative options for treating hypercortisolism and has taken part in infectious disease research. A physician and academician, she is committed to expanding medical knowledge and supporting the development of future medical professionals.
