About

Asst. Prof. Dr. Farah Nadia Mohd Hanafiah practises as an Anesthesiologist and Critical Care specialist at IIUM Medical Specialist Centre, and she also holds an Assistant Professor post at the International Islamic University Malaysia. Advancing medical knowledge through innovative research sits at the heart of her work. She has helped create digital educational tools for antimicrobial stewardship in ICUs and takes part in international critical care collaborations. Her exploration of advanced medical technologies includes ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia using augmented reality smart glasses. In addition, she supervises master's students, playing a part in shaping the next generation of medical professionals.
