About
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim serves as a Consultant in Clinical Haematology and Internal Medicine, and he has been central to the creation and improvement of haematology services across East Coast Malaysia. His training in Ireland underpins a broad command of general and malignant haematology, haemostasis and thrombosis among them. At HTAA, he designed the acute pulmonary embolism treatment pathway, one of his notable contributions. He also plays a key part in building comprehensive clinical haematology services at SASMEC @IIUM and IIUM Medical Specialist Centre, where he heads the Haematology Unit and makes a substantial contribution to medical education.
