Asst. Prof. Dr. Salmah Anim Binti Abu Hassan serves as a Rehabilitation Physician at IIUM Medical Specialist Centre. Her clinical practice covers Amputee, Acquired Brain Injury, Cardiac, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Neuromedical, and COVID Rehabilitation. Beyond her clinical duties, she is involved in innovative research, including minimally invasive pain intervention for stroke patients, diagnostic protein markers for Post COVID-19 Syndrome, and control strategies for upper limb rehabilitation robots. She has also contributed to the development of the 3 Point Shoulder Injection (3PSI) and sensory stimulation gardens. From 2023 to 2024, she held the position of Secretary of the Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Physicians, where she plays a key role in advancing patient-centered rehabilitation.
