At Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre, Datin Paduka Dr. Lau Siew Gek practises in two fields: Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her medical degree, an MB BCh BAO, was earned at Trinity College Dublin, and she went on to gain her MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, before completing further specialization in Nephrology. Because she speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese, and Hakka, she is able to care for patients from many different backgrounds in a way that respects their culture and language — a quality that makes her a distinctive presence in kidney health and internal medicine.
