Dr. Chandramalar T. Santhirathelagan serves as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Cornea and External Eye Disease Surgeon, bringing deep expertise to external eye diseases, anterior segment surgeries, cataract surgery, and corneal transplants. Her leadership in Malaysian ophthalmology and organ transplantation includes her role as President of the Malaysian Association of Cell and Tissue Banking and Chairperson of the Scientific Steering Committee for Transplantation. She has made significant contributions to the National Eyebank and Ministry of Health committees, and she is also an Honorary Lecturer who has published research on corneal imaging and rare ocular conditions. Her work has been recognised with the 'Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang KKM' award.
