Dr. Cheah May Hong

About

At ISEC Mid Valley, Dr. Cheah May Hong practises as a Consultant Anaesthetist, a role in which she draws on training from two countries to keep patients safe and comfortable throughout their procedures. Her medical education began in Australia, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland and built early clinical experience at the Gold Coast Hospital. She went on to earn a Fellowship from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), and later added a Master of Anaesthesiology from the University of Malaya. Her expertise was further deepened by more than a year spent as a Senior Registrar in Anaesthesia at The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia. Alongside this training, she has worked across various medical disciplines, among them internal medicine and cardiology. For patients having procedures at ISEC, that combination of dual-country anaesthetic experience and broad clinical grounding supports attentive, dedicated care.
