Dr. Chooi Kar Yoke Amber is a compassionate, learned obstetrician and gynaecologist and fertility specialist. She completed her medical training at University Science Malaysia (USM) and holds a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Universiti Malaya. She undertook clinical attachments in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and Singapore, and later joined Hospital Kuala Lumpur and subsequently Hospital Ipoh. She received the Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Health. Her clinical fertility work was based at the Reproductive Unit HKL, and she is competent in Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), and Testicular Sperm Retrieval procedures. She holds a Certificate of Assisted Reproductive Technology from National University Hospital, Singapore, and is a member of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). She joined the Metro IVF team in 2018, providing IVF services in Puchong and the Klang Valley. With vast experience managing infertility cases, she has helped many childless couples have babies. She has participated in clinical research, with journal publications and presentations at international conferences.
