About

At UM Specialist Centre, Dr. Chung Tze Yang practises as a Consultant Rehabilitation Physician whose focus is helping people with physical impairments regain function and enjoy a better quality of life. His medical training began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by a Master of Rehabilitation Medicine, both earned at the University of Malaya, where he also serves as a Senior Lecturer — a role that keeps him closely connected to current evidence-based practice and new developments in his specialty.

Dr. Chung designs thorough, patient-centered rehabilitation programmes for people recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries and complex orthopedic issues. Drawing on the rigorous training he received at the University of Malaya, he takes a multidisciplinary approach to care, guiding patients toward improved mobility, maximum recovery and greater independence.
