About

Dr. Deepashni Thulasiraman's path in medicine began at Crimea State Medical University in Ukraine, where she earned her Medical Degree and set the groundwork for a career centred on women's health. Her pursuit of further knowledge continued, and in 2023 she reached an important milestone by completing Part 1, 2, and 3 of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists — a reflection of her commitment to depth in her field.

Her calling to obstetrics and gynaecology emerged not by chance but during her time as a Medical Officer at Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia – Klinik Kesihatan Bayan Baru, Pulau Pinang. Across those years, from 2011 to 2015, she developed a deep interest in women's health. That passion carried her into a nine-year term as an OBGYN Registrar at Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia – Hospital Selayang, Selangor, serving from 2015 to 2024. Her skills now cover many areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, built through dedicated service and thorough training. Working in clinics, wards and operating theatres, she has handled varied environments with skill, upholding high standards of care. Her capabilities include fertility counseling, screening and management, and performing vaginal deliveries, caesarean sections, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, laparoscopy and laparotomy surgeries, among others.

What truly defines Dr. Deepashni is her outstanding care and sincere concern for patients. Warm and empathetic, she has a special gift for forming meaningful connections, bringing confidence and reassurance to those she looks after.

Today, as a resident doctor at Hospital Wanita Metro Kuala Selangor and Metro IVF, Dr. Deepashni carries on her work of empowering women through excellent care. With Dr. Deepashni, patients gain not just a skilled practitioner but a loyal partner on their path to health and wellness.
