Dr. Hayati Binti Yaakup serves as a Consultant Palliative Medicine Physician at Sunway Medical Centre, where she is known for her patient-centered approach and her advocacy for the early integration of palliative care. She provides holistic care that addresses physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and religious needs for both cancer and non-cancer patients. In her role as Head of Supportive and Palliative Care Service, she leads with a commitment to enhancing quality of life and ensuring seamless transitions of care. Her dedication is further demonstrated by her position as an Executive Member for UTOPIA and her involvement in organizing the Sunway Virtual Oncology and Palliative Care Symposium.
