His career includes leadership as Head of Department for Paediatrics at Hospital Slim River, along with substantial periods of service at Hospital Teluk Intan and Hospital Ipoh. He has also been actively involved with the Malaysian Paediatric Association and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, reflecting a commitment to moving paediatric medicine forward.
