About

Dr. Ko Chung Yee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon whose practice centres on arthroplasty, with a particular focus on knee and hip replacement procedures — he performs close to 300 such cases each year. He has introduced modern surgical approaches designed to speed up recovery, helping patients reach their outcomes in about one month rather than the usual three. In January 2023, he became the first Malaysian surgeon to complete 100 Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacements. Since 2005, he has served as an Arthroplasty Trainer for the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, and he is also an international speaker. Through comprehensive musculoskeletal care, Dr. Ko is committed to advancing orthopaedic practice and improving patients' quality of life.
