Dr. Leslie Charles Lai Chin Loy is an endocrinologist whose career spans more than 39 years, with clinical expertise centred on diabetes, metabolic medicine, and disorders of the hormone system. His professional standing includes service as President of the Asia-Pacific Federation for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (APFCB), together with the role of Chair of the IFCC Education and Management Division. His academic record features professorial appointments at universities and 92 publications, and he was honoured with the 'Top Young Malaysian for Academic Leadership and Accomplishment' award.
