Dr. Lim Wai Jenn is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Sunway Medical Centre and Sunway Medical Centre Velocity. Her medical degree, an MD, was awarded in 2009 by Jefferson Medical College (of Philadelphia), Thomas Jefferson University, USA. She holds certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Psychiatry (2016) and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. In the USA, she also completed a Fellowship in Intensive Structural Family Therapy. Dr. Lim's clinical focus covers a broad spectrum of conditions, including anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and disruptive behavior disorders in children. Her comprehensive treatment approach addresses underlying issues and draws on therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, and Trauma-focused Therapy, with medication management when necessary.
