Dr. Lydia Kamaruzaman serves as a Consultant Nephrologist and Senior Medical Lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where her clinical focus centres on chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, and kidney transplantation. Her work has advanced the field through research into IgA nephropathy and CKD/SGLT2i trials, alongside her contributions as the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and as a manuscript reviewer. She is also a prominent speaker at national and international nephrology conferences, and she chairs the Malaysian Society of Nephrology - Young Nephrologist Committee.
