Dr. Magendra A/L Ramalingam's medical journey began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Mangalore University, Karnataka, India, in 1991. He later pursued a Masters of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at University Malaya, graduating in 2001. In 2015, he completed a Fellowship Training in Reproductive Medicine under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. His leadership was instrumental in setting up and managing the Fertility Unit at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang (HTAR).

A standout achievement was his key involvement in the 2008 launch of the IVF Shared Care program, a partnership between HTAR and private institutions such as Metro IVF. The program's success was celebrated when it resulted in the birth of its first IVF twins that same year, a milestone reported by The Star newspaper.

Dr. Magendra's contributions extended to his service as a council member of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM) and as a member of the National ART Committee, where he helped drive progress in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in Malaysia. He also played a vital role in formulating the National Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Policy alongside the Ministry of Health Malaysia, reflecting his dedication to advancing the medical field.

Known for his compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr. Magendra has earned the respect of both patients and colleagues. His practice is marked by extensive expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Currently, he serves as Fertility Consultant at Klinik Pakar Wanita Metro Bukit Tinggi 2 and holds a key position at the Metro IVF Klang headquarters.
