At UiTM, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Abdul Hafidz serves as a Consultant Physician and Nephrologist, heading both the Nephrology Unit and the Kidney Transplant Programme. He is credited with setting up Malaysia's first fully haemodiafiltration centre. Within the Malaysian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation, he holds key positions. His work on organ donation and transplantation extends into EU academic projects that he spearheads, and he has been recognised internationally through the ISN Emerging Leaders Programme. Advancing renal medicine and medical education is central to his practice.
