Dr. Narazah Binti Mohd Yusoff

About

Dr. Narazah Binti Mohd Yusoff has dedicated her career to haematopathology and medical genetics since 1986. As a Senior Consultant Haematopathologist and Medical Geneticist, she has become known for her deep knowledge of blood disorders, including anemia, clotting disorders, and leukemias. She is also a Professor and a former medical lecturer. Her contributions to research and academic governance include serving as Co-Chairperson and Advisor of the USM Human Research and Ethics Committee, and as Chair of the USM Task Force Niche Areas in Research and Academic. She is the Founding President of the Malaysian Laboratory Haematology Society and a member of the Global Globin Network. Her research interests centre on oncogenic fusion genes, molecular haematology, and blood cancers, work that has been recognised with a Gold Medal from the Japanese Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS).
