Dr. Noh Amit

About

At UKM, Dr. Noh Amit leads the Clinical Psychology and Behavioural Health Program, where he devotes himself to preparing the next generation of mental health practitioners. His academic and clinical work as a psychologist centres on behavioural health, particularly substance use, mental health, and suicidal behaviour. Findings from his studies have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as adolescent substance abuse, mental health assessment, and interventions for caregivers. In addition, he acts as an Advisor to the Psychology Specialist Center at Hospital Islam Az-Zahrah, where psychological services are offered and where he champions a holistic, dynamic vision of well-being.
