Dr. Norzailin Abu Bakar practises as a Clinical Radiologist at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity (SMCV), where her work centres on Cardiac Imaging. Her particular strength lies in multimodality cardiac radiology, covering both MRI and CT. At UKM Medical Centre she played a key role in establishing cardiac CT and MRI services. Within the Malaysian College of Radiology, she heads the Special Group Interest in Cardiac Imaging, and she also serves as Malaysia's representative in the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. Her academic contributions include more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and many invited lectures, reflecting a commitment to moving medical knowledge forward. In her clinical practice she remains directly involved with patients, and her dedication to excellent care was recognised with the 2014 Excellent Service Award.
