Dr Raveenthiran Rasiah

About

Dr. Raveenthiran Rasiah is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist whose career spans more than 30 years. He has served as president of both the College of Anaesthesiologists and the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists, and he has contributed internationally through board roles with the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) and the World Society of Intravenous Anaesthesia (World SIVA). His clinical interests cover Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA), Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia, and Safety in Anaesthesia, with particular attention to perioperative temperature management. A Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia and Singapore, he has been a pioneer doctor at Avisena Specialist Hospital since 1997.
