Dr. Sharmila Sunita Paramasivam practises as a Consultant Endocrinologist, and her clinical focus spans thyroidology, adrenal and parathyroid diseases, diabetes mellitus, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. In her earlier role as an Associate Professor at University Malaya, she helped shape national healthcare standards through her work on writing committees for Malaysian clinical practice guidelines.
