Dr. Sheriza Izwa Zainuddin practises as a Consultant Palliative Care Physician, dedicating her work to improving quality of life for patients and families confronting life-threatening illnesses. Her clinical focus centres on relieving and preventing suffering, achieved by identifying physical, psychosocial, and spiritual difficulties early and treating them comprehensively. She holds a Fellowship of the College of Physicians (Palliative Medicine) and has received an Excellence Service Award. Beyond her clinical role, she helps move palliative care forward by contributing to guideline development and taking part in international education projects, while her research explores suffering, hope, and Advance Care Planning.
