At KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, Dr. Soh Lay Sian practises as a Consultant Paediatrician whose work centres on infants, children, and adolescents. Her path into medicine began with her graduation from the University of Malaya in 1979, after which she travelled to the United Kingdom for advanced postgraduate training. There she gained her Diploma in Child Health (DCH) along with the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK), reflecting a depth of knowledge and a commitment to international standards in paediatric care.

Her professional journey also includes leading the Paediatrics department in Kuala Terengganu and developing a focus on paediatric nephrology at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. As one of the pioneer consultants at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, she has cared for patients there for more than 25 years.
