Dr. Syazatul Syakirin Sirol Aflah practises as a Consultant Internal Medicine and Respiratory Physician, with a special interest in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) that she deepened through advanced training in Italy. Within the Malaysian Thoracic Society, she heads the Interstitial Lung Disease Special Interest Group, and she takes an active part in research, among it industry-sponsored trials. Her work in respiratory medicine also extends to obstructive airway disease and tuberculosis, and she has shared her findings through numerous publications and presentations.
