About

At Sunway Medical Centre, Dr. Tee Bee Chin practises as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Her medical degree, an MD, and her Mmed. Psych were both earned at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and she went on to complete a Subspeciality & Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in Singapore. She focuses on Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry (including Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disorders), Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia & Psychotic Disorders, Adolescent Mental Health, and Internet/Gaming Addiction. In her therapeutic work, she draws on approaches such as Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapy. Dr. Tee speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien. Her earlier roles include Medical Officer, Psychiatry Trainee Medical Officer, and Psychiatrist and Head of Department of Psychiatry at various hospitals, among them Hospital Kulim.
