Dr. Teh Boon Teck serves as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Sunway Medical Centre, where he has been part of the team since 2000. His practice covers anesthesia care, intensive care medicine, and acute pain service, areas in which he has built considerable experience. Dr. Teh earned his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1986 and went on to complete a Master of Medicine (Anesthesia) at the same institution in 1991. He also holds the FMGEMS (The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in the Medical Sciences) qualification. During his training years, he was awarded the ASEAN Scholarship (1979-1980) and the Local Merit Scholarship (1981-1986). His earlier roles include lecturer at the Department of Anesthesiology, University Malaya, and registrar in anesthesia at the National University Hospital. Professionally, he is affiliated with the Singapore Society of Anesthesiologists, the Malaysian Society of Anesthesiology, and the Malaysian Medical Association.
