About

Dr. Yeoh Kar Xian earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Manchester, UK. The following year, she was awarded Membership of Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She is registered with the General Medical Council United Kingdom and is a member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia.

Her early professional training took place at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom, alongside other hospitals including Walsall Manor Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and Coventry hospital, between 2008 and 2014. She also completed four years of specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK.

After returning to Malaysia, Dr. Yeoh worked at Sarawak General Hospital and Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban, and in 2018 she was gazetted as an obstetrics and gynaecology specialist by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Yeoh taught and assessed many junior O&G doctors. She has 23 publications and researches from New Zealand and the United Kingdom, reflecting her enthusiasm for research and learning.

Dr. Yeoh holds a special interest in fertility and reproductive medicine, as well as Assisted Reproductive Technology (AR). In 2022, she joined Metro IVF to further her subspecialty in fertility treatment and IVF.
