About

At UM Specialist Centre, Dr. Yip Hing Wa practises as a specialist in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, devoting his work to delivering the highest standard of care to patients facing the most critical situations. His academic grounding came from Universiti Malaya, where he completed both his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery and his Master of Anaesthesiology, and he has been building his career in anaesthesia and intensive care since 2013.

In his role as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialist, Dr. Yip has extensive experience caring for people with complex, life-threatening conditions. He is further developing his expertise through a fellowship in intensive care medicine. His clinical interests span mechanical ventilation, renal replacement therapy, and organ donation and transplantation, and he is actively involved in quality improvement projects that strengthen patient safety in the ICU — work that reflects his commitment to excellent clinical outcomes. Patients and their families can place their confidence in his knowledge and dedication.
