About

Ms. Urmilah Dass practises as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, bringing a compassionate approach to mental health and a spirit of initiative to her work. Her areas of expertise cover psychotherapy and psychology for adults, adolescents, and children, and she was responsible for successfully initiating the S.M.I.L.E program, which serves children with disabilities. Psychometric testing, assessments, support groups, and training all fall within her professional scope, and she has gained notable experience in multidisciplinary obesity clinics as well as in delivering mental health support to refugees alongside Medecins Sans Frontieres. Having founded Valley Psychological Services in 2006, she has earned the trust of individuals, couples, and families, skilfully adapting a range of therapeutic approaches to their needs. Ms. Dass also works with multidisciplinary teams at Prince Court Medical Centre and is a prominent resource for media and NGOs on psychological matters.
