Professor Datin Dr Norlina Mohd Ramli

About

Professor Datin Dr Norlina Mohd Ramli is an ophthalmologist whose subspecialty focus is glaucoma, and she practises at UM Specialist Centre (UMSC). She graduated with Distinction from Newcastle University, UK, and went on to complete an award-winning Masters at the University of Malaya. Her glaucoma skills were further developed through a fellowship at the Singapore National Eye Centre. A prolific researcher, she has authored more than 50 publications and holds an H-index of 12-14, while also contributing actively to public health awareness campaigns. She is a respected educator at the University of Malaya and serves in leadership roles as Deputy Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Ophthalmology and Honorary Secretary for the Malaysian Glaucoma Society. Her work has been recognised with the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology Achievement Award (2018) and the International Young Investigator Award (2021).
