Professor Dr. Azlina Amir Abbas serves as a Professor and Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at UMSC, with a clinical focus on hip and knee surgery. Her background includes a previous appointment as Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. A significant part of her training took place abroad: she obtained her medical degree and completed her clinical years at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada, where she encountered the practices of a Western healthcare system.
