Professor Dr. Mimiwati Zahari practises as an Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist, with deep expertise spanning normal tension glaucoma, glaucoma medication, and surgical interventions. Her standing in the field is reflected in her appointment as chief writer for the new Malaysian Curriculum for Postgraduate training in Ophthalmology, and in her role as an elected Board Member of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society.
