About
Professor Dr. Mukhri Hamdan combines clinical practice with research as a clinician scientist in reproductive medicine and Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART). His PhD from the University of Southampton centred on Endometriosis and IVF/ICSI, and his work has moved the field forward, notably through biomarker discovery. The British Fertility Society has certified him for embryo transfer and IUI. In addition, he serves as Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Universiti Malaya and as Vice President of the College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Academy of Medicine Malaysia, where he helps shape national medical standards and curriculum. His contributions have been recognised with an award from the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and he remains committed to raising the quality of training in O&G and reproductive medicine.
