Professor Dr Vairavan Narayanan

About

Professor Dr. Vairavan Narayanan serves as a Consultant Neurosurgeon and leads Neurosurgical Services at both UMSC and UMMC. He played a key role in setting up a successful Epilepsy Surgery Program and jointly oversees a dedicated Neuro Oncology Unit. His clinical strengths span Neuro Oncology, Epilepsy, Skull Base Surgery, and Traumatic Brain Injury, and he places strong emphasis on caring for patients collaboratively. Research into brain tumors and traumatic brain injury forms a major part of his work, adding meaningfully to neurosurgical knowledge. In 2013 he was gazetted as an NSR consultant Neurosurgeon.
