An Interventional Radiologist and Neurointerventionalist, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezamin Bin Abdul Rahim has played a pioneering role in moving stroke care in Malaysia forward. His clinical strengths span IV Thrombolysis and Mechanical Thrombectomy, and he is at the forefront of applying AI to medical imaging, notably through the Putralytica project. In academic leadership, he serves as Deputy Director of PPDN and as Secretary/Treasurer of MyNIS, alongside a body of work that includes more than 75 publications and significant research grants. As a key opinion leader and trainer in Stroke Neurointervention, he was instrumental in building HSAAS into a national hyperacute stroke referral center.
