Dato' Dr. Zaki Morad Mohamed Zaher is a nephrologist whose decades-long career has shaped renal care in Malaysia. He is known for setting up key national registries, among them the Malaysian Dialysis and Transplant Registry and the Malaysian Registry of Renal Biopsy. Under his leadership, dialysis facilities were made available in every Malaysian general and district hospital. Today he serves as Chairman of the National Kidney Foundation and as a Resident Consultant Nephrologist at KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital, where he keeps working to champion kidney health and to move the field forward through his clinical, research, and leadership contributions.
