KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital is a premier multispecialty private hospital owned by KPJ Healthcare Group, one of Malaysia's leading private healthcare providers. Established in 1996, the hospital is situated in Ampang, on the eastern fringe of Kuala Lumpur, approximately one hour from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It is built on a 5.35-acre site with a total built-up area of 330,000 square feet.
The hospital offers 25 medical and surgical specialties including Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery, Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Radiotherapy and Oncology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Paediatrics. It is supported by more than 80 resident, sessional, and visiting medical consultants, all carefully selected for their professional expertise.
KPJ Ampang Puteri holds Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation and is the first hospital in Malaysia to receive full accreditation status from the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) for the 6th consecutive four-year term (2016–2020). It is certified by SIRIM QAS International for ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, and holds HACCP certification from Lloyd's Quality Assurance Ltd for food safety. In 2006, the hospital was awarded Baby-Friendly Hospital (BFH) status by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In 2018, it became one of the first hospitals in Southeast Asia to receive Planetree Gold certification from Planetree International for excellence in person-centred care.
