At Sunway Medical Centre, Dr. Mohamed Najib Bin Mohamed Unni practises as a Consultant Paediatrician and as a Paediatric Haematologist & Oncologist. Paediatric stem cell transplantation for malignancies sits at the centre of his work, alongside the management of bone marrow failure syndromes, primary immunodeficiency (PID) and Thalassemia. His medical degree (M.D.) was earned at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and he later completed a Master's in Medicine (Paediatrics) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His training was deepened further through a Fellowship in Paediatric Stem Cell Transplantation at the Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Procedures such as stem cell collection via peripheral bleed and bone marrow are a particular focus of his practice, and his service was recognised with the Ministry of Health Excellent Service Award in both 2012 and 2015. He consults in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
