At Gleneagles Hospital Penang, Dr. Tan Wei Pern serves as a Resident Anaesthesiologist whose practice centres on Anaesthesiology and Critical Care. He places patient comfort at the heart of his work, carefully designing personalised anesthesia plans so that surgery can proceed without pain, while also overseeing care before and after the operation. Watching over vital signs throughout each procedure and managing post-operative pain are further parts of his role, helping patients recover smoothly. Fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese, he is able to put patients from many different backgrounds at ease and deliver attentive care.
