Dr David Quek Kwang Leng

About

Dr. David Quek Kwang Leng serves as a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. His cardiology and electrophysiology training was completed in London, and his practice centres on clinical and interventional cardiology, with particular attention to acute and chronic Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) in STEMI. Preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk reduction are also central to his work. He played a key role in establishing Malaysia's first Ministry of Health electrophysiology service and in advancing rhythm management within private practice. His contributions extend to national and international cardiology associations, where he has held the office of President of the National Heart Association of Malaysia and of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology.
