Dr. Saravanan A/L Arjunan is a Medical Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Sunway Medical Centre in Selangor, Malaysia, with over 27 years of experience. He performs a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including OGDS, colonoscopy, polypectomy, hemostasis techniques, and endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Saravanan earned his MBBS from Mysore University, India, in 1996, followed by a Master of Internal Medicine from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2007. He completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, and further specialized through an Advanced Endoscopic Fellowship at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad, India, under Dr. Nageswar Reddy (a World Endoscopy Organisation Center of Excellence). He has received the Excellent Service Award from the Ministry of Health Malaysia twice, in 2008 and 2013. Dr. Saravanan is fluent in English, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia, and he serves as the Deputy Head of Gastroenterology Sub Speciality Service and Training for the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
