First of all, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Angelina for her expertise in treating and helping my son recover from his acute bronchitis. I would also like to thank all the nurses who attended to us — they were consistently friendly, caring, and helpful. We are truly grateful. However, I am disappointed with several other aspects of our stay. 1. Food Quality For a private hospital, the meals served were below expectations. Serving cabbage three out of four days is unacceptable. While the chicken dishes were generally well-prepared, some pieces were undercooked, with pinkish-red meat inside. For the amount we are charged, this level of food quality is not reflective of what SJMC should provide. 2. Room Maintenance The room condition was also disappointing. The entrance door was not properly fitted, making it difficult to open and close smoothly. The shower fixture was loose and not firmly installed. The sofa leather was torn, which gives a poor impression for a private hospital room. Given the premium rates charged, we expect appropriate standards. Please ensure that facilities provided are aligned with the prices patients are paying. Charging 5-star rates but delivering 2-star quality is unacceptable. I hope SJMC will take this feedback seriously and improve these areas. We were very disappointed !!!
