For anyone looking to do ICL, do choose Dr Choong ☺️Had a very pleasant experience with Dr Choong, he is very friendly and helpful, open to patients asking him questions and enquiries as well, a very patient and kind doctor. I would also like to strongly recommend Crystal, one of the optometrists at ISEC. Do request for her to check your eyes if you have the opportunity! She is incredibly helpful, patient and attentive, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She is also very knowledgeable and will gladly answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding your eye health, aftercare and long-term eye care and maintenance. I really appreciate how reassuring and thorough she was throughout my experience.

Dr. Choong has no professionalism whatsoever. He rushed me to get my eyes tested without any explanation, and the entire appointment from meeting him to leaving lasted only one minute.

Dr Chong Yee Fong super unethical. Went in with my son for less than a minute and was 'done'. No machine used no nothing. When asked how come no machine is used to do checking he replied back and say experience. When asked him questions about the eyes condition he was irritated and was reluctant to answer. I've stopped going to him now and go to Dr Azura instead as she takes her time to check and explain. (Very happy with her). I'm writing this review now because I'm waiting for our appointment at 8.30am (no peak at all), I've seen 3 people go into his room and everyone has spent less than 1 min (no exaggeration) with him. How is this ethical? People pay for eye check and consultation, what can he check in one min? Please reflect and ISEC should take note of this but I'm sure now because I'm sure he's a cash cow.

Recently I had cataract surgery at ISEC. I am very happy with the service and doctor at ISEC. Like most first time cataract patients, in the beginning I did have a lot of concerns regarding how the surgery is conducted and whether mine can be successful. Since I totally lost vision on my right eye due to cataract, I decided to go ahead with cataract surgery. First thing is to find a doctor with good experience of cataract surgery. After searching on internet I found several places where cataract surgery can be conducted, I finally selected ISEC because of convenience and selected Dr. Choong because of his reputation. I am happy that I selected a good doctor. He is nice and very skillful. Actually all the staff at ISEC I met were nice and professional. Eventually I had surgery on both eyes. Prior to surgery, I was wearing progressive eyeglasses. To eliminate eyeglasses postsurgery, I chose monovision option. Dr. Choong selected right IOLs for me. After surgery, my right eye can see objects clearly from about 1m to far distance; my left eye can read computer and mobile phone clearly at about half meter distance. Although it is monovision, I do not really feel it unless I cover up one eye to realize one eye is clear while the other is not.

This place deserve zero star. Service is poor. No one smiles in this place. Dr. Chong Yee Fong is arrogant.
