He performs complex brain and spinal surgeries, including tumor removal with minimally invasive techniques, and provides advanced interventional pain management for chronic pain conditions. His subspecialty in pediatric neurosurgery, supported by specialized international training, allows him to manage complex developmental neurological issues in children. Dr. Nor Faizal is also an Associate Professor and holds the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Travelling Grant Award.
