About
Dr. Oommen George practises as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, bringing together medical training gained both in Malaysia and abroad. His medical degree, an MBBS, was earned at Manipal University in India, and he went on to complete a Master of Surgery in Plastic Surgery at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2007. Further shaping his skills was an observership in aesthetic surgery at the JW Plastic Surgery Clinic in Seoul, South Korea. He continues to refine his expertise by taking part in international workshops and masterclasses, among them advanced courses in rhinoplasty and breast augmentation held in New Delhi, India, and Singapore. Since 1997 he has been a registered specialist with the Malaysian Medical Council, and since 2012 with the National Specialist Register. Dr. George speaks English and Bahasa Melayu, and he is committed to giving his patients attentive, world-class care that pairs his knowledge with advanced surgical techniques in pursuit of the best possible outcomes.

My husband recently spent five nights at KPJ Damansara for treatment of an abscess at the back of his head, and the care he received was truly exceptional. Dr. Ommen George and Prof. Dr. Shazli were extremely friendly, professional, and reassuring throughout his stay. They explained every step clearly, treated him with kindness, and ensured the procedure was completely painless. Their warm approach made him feel more like a family member than a patient. The nursing team and the intern students from KPJ College also deserve special praise. A wonderful intern from Sabah and a dedicated intern from Perak, Mohd Danial, provided excellent assistance and gentle care every day. Their commitment and attitude were truly commendable. Because of this positive experience, my husband has no hesitation at all to continue his dressing and follow-up care here.
