At Northern Heart Hospital Penang, Dr. Tuan Jiun Haur serves as a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. His clinical focus centres on heart rhythm disorders, and he has been instrumental in advancing cardiac electrophysiology in Penang. Dr. Tuan earned a postgraduate research degree in cardiac electrophysiology from the University of Leicester. He is known for carrying out complex procedures such as AF ablation with 3D mapping systems, and in 2013 he performed the first such procedure in the region. His innovative work on atrial fibrillation ablation earned him the Young Investigator Research Prize. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Tuan is an active researcher and author, and he is committed to delivering meticulous patient care from diagnosis through treatment.
